Wow. Just wow. Rent the Aputure 1200d Pro when you don’t want to rent an M18 HMI. This is the final nail in the low/mid range HMI light. Portable, lower power draw, no heat issues, no blown bulb/globe issues. The Aputure LS 1200d Pro is a real game changer with double the power of the Aputure 600d Pro but in not that much bigger a package. This also takes the same accessories as the 600d, the F10 fresnel and F10 barn doors. Note these are not included, only the reflector kit, see below to add them.

* 5600k daylight
* 1200w of LED is about the equivalent to 1600-1800 HMI (depending on some factors) which is equivalent to about 6000w of tungsten (which would be cut in half twice if you put full CTB to convert tungsten to daylight).
* Includes 15, 30 and 45 degree reflectors – though you don’t have to take all 3 if you don’t want to. They are big.
* Includes stand and AC.
* Please request F10 fresnel and F10 barndoors if needed. This will not work with the standard Aputure fresenel
* This can be powered by 2x 190wh batteries (not included) and the Aputure battery station (also not included) but it’s going to eat them like the Cookie Monster and a box of Oreos. If you need to go this route, tell us what run time you need as there’s some math involved. But you should rent a generator instead. Just sayin’.
