Hands down one of the best 3 point LED kits we have (if not the best) is the Aputure Amaran Tri-8 (which means 888, which means 888led emitters). This is basically a 1000LED panel in a much smaller size as they honeycomb the emitters to shrink it down to the size of a 500LED panel, making it smaller and lighter. Fit a 3x 1000LED light kit into a small shoulder bag? No way. Fit the Amaran kit into a shoulder bag and you have space left over. This kit kicks ass. Just rent it. Oh and it’s cheaper than a 3x 1000LED kit!!!
