Anamorphic Lens Rentals

Rent SLR Magic Cine Anamorphot ( anamorphic ) lenses for getting a classic ultra wide look for your film, for a fraction of the cost of other anamorphic lenses on the market!  The 1.33x squeeze factor will create a 2.35:1 aspect ratio on a 16:9 sensor.  The 35mm covers up to a Super35 sensor while the 50 and 70mm cover up to full frame 35mm or “large format”.

Rent lenses that REALLY look different!  Ok, these are kind of weird, but basically a company called Iron Glass Adapters took these vintage 37mm, 58mm and 85mm Russian lenses and adapted them to create the flare that you get with anamorphic lenses, as well as coated the interiors to try to emulate the look of old Panavision C glass with oval bokeh, blue horizontal flares, very narrow depth of field, soft warm skin tones and blooming highlights.  Note that these are not anamorphic and do not squeeze the image, they just provide a very interesting look for the cinematographer who is looking for that type of image.  Letterbox in post and people may never know…
