Widest full frame rectilinear (ie not fisheye) Sony E mount lens on the market? The Laowa 9mm FF at the time of us posting this, is it. You can get wider fisheye lenses, but you can’t get anything wider in a full frame lens that keeps straight lines in your corners (to a reasonable degree of course given how insanely wide this is for a FF lens). Yes it’s f5.6 and they do make an f2.8 but that’s only in Super35mm format. So if the Sony 12-24mm just isn’t wide enough, this is it. Also, it’s extremely light and compact for drone use, that’s a bonus. And yes, it’s manual only, no autofocus. But that wide everything is going to be in focus anyway, so problem solved, right? :)
