Sony 28-70mm F2.0 GM

The Sony 28-70mm f2.0 GM lens is the one you want to rent when the 24-70mm f2.8 just isn’t fast enough.  But wait, isn’t this going to be super huge and heavy, like the Canon 28-70mm f2.0?  Nope.  When we opened the box, everyone here was shocked at how compact and light it was.  You would probably assume is was just another 24-70 2.8!  The Sony 28-70mm f2.8 also has a super short zoom exension distance between 28mm and 70mm, so if you’re running it on a gimbal it will shift your balance point very little from one end of the zoom to the other.  It is PERFECT in every way except…. it’s EXPENSIVE!  …which makes it a great rental item vs buying!  Rent the Sony 28-70mm f2.8 GM and find out for yourself!
