A portable medium length jib and remote head that will easily run a Red Epic, C300, FS7 and similar.
If you want to rent a camera jib or crane for a camera bigger than a DSLR, but without the cost of a motorized pan/tilt head (see our Cambo V40) the Cambo Artes might be the jib for you. It assembles in minutes and breaks down into 2 pieces for light and easy transport. Ours includes the legs (wheeled tripod dolly not included). Note, the manufacturer spec is 22lbs for this jib, but we suggest that for anything more than 12lbs you should use the V40.
NOTE – this is a flat plate jib, there is no independent pan/tilt on it, it can only boom vertically and horizontally. If you want to pan and tilt as well as boom, you’ll need to add a head to the front and front operate. Or rent the Cambo V40 with remote head.
Do you need to get your camera up high? Rent a Cambo Artes 10′ jib with manual tilt! This is perfect for small cameras like the Sony A7s or Canon R5, up to cameras like a Sony FX6 or any Red DSMC3 series. Unlike the basic Cambo Artes, this includes a cable driven tilt system. While it will make a left right boom move, the head itself does not pan. If you need the head to pan, we suggest the Cambo V40. While the manufacturer rates the weight capacity fairly high, we suggest up to about 12lbs is a reasonable capacity. This is also fairly portable and sets up quickly and simply.
