Sennheiser MKE400 on camera mic

Some might say this is the best microphone to rent for film production audio in the directional mic world.  Others would argue the Sennheiser 416.   We’d say a good sound guy would make more of a difference, but either way, this is the cream of the crop of our production shotgun mics.  Note, it requires phantom power.  If you don’t know what that means, rent an NTG2 instead.
