Combine a Sennheiser ME66 shotgun mic and boom pole and save money!
Wedding video microphone kits should always include one of these, or any live event audio kitr really, as an emergency backup to your main sound system. It’s foolproof. Clip on the mic, hit record, drop the recorder in the speaker’s pocket. Come back in hour. Done.
Do you need to record 2 people at the same time, but have to output to a single channel like a 3.5mm jack in something like an R5 or A7s? This kit will save you from having to use an external mixer to blend the two channels by having 2 transmitters linked to a single receiver! This is a huge improvement over the classic 2 wireless lavs into a Zoom H4n! Oh, and it’s cheaper. BUT WAIT… YOU WANT MORE? The transmitters also records internally! Just make sure you delete your recordings before you return the rental… we really don’t want to know what you’re up to! 🙂
Oh yeah and… charge these before your shoot. We top them up but it never hurts.
Are you running a multicam live shoot and need to be able to yell at your camera team? Forget walkies, you need to rent the Hollyland T1000 intercom system! This is a full duplex system which means you can talk back and forth like you were on a cell phone conference call, but also gives you the ability to shut off other people’s mics remotely if they are annoying you. It is AC powered but can also run off batteries if you are in the field. The Hollyland T1000 intercom system gives you, as the operator, one headset off the base station, and four more headsets for your camera operators, or anyone else you like. Rent an intercom system for your shoot and you’ll save a ton of time and stress on the day.
